Duties
- Assist servers by bussing tables efficiently, clearing dishes, and resetting tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Welcome guests warmly as a host, managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Support food service operations by delivering food and beverages accurately and promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness standards through regular cleaning of dining areas, condiment stations, and service stations in accordance with health regulations
- Handle food handling responsibilities with care, adhering to safety protocols to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow, address guest needs, and resolve any issues swiftly
- Assist with catering events or special functions as needed to support overall restaurant or hotel operations
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; hospitality background is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and responsibly following proper food handling procedures
- Experience with bussing, serving, or hosting duties within the food industry or hotel settings
