American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with PICU/NICU experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract in a Level I trauma academic medical center.

Work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a large academic medical center
-
Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
-
Experience with pediatric cardiac anomalies required in this setting
-
Uses high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators
-
Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 18:45–07:15
-
6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule block
-
No on-call required
-
13-week contract
-
Current NC RRT license or Compact license in hand at time of consideration — license required if applicable
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU, pediatric critical care, pediatrics, and ED
-
Level IV NICU experience required
-
Proficiency with high-frequency jet ventilators and oscillating ventilators required

Level I trauma experience required

Current certifications in hand: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
-
1 supervisory professional reference from within the last year required
-
Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Flu vaccine required seasonally (October 31 – March 31); no exemptions accepted
