- Working knowledge of distribution line work
- Identify unsafe work behaviors
- Knowledge about primary and secondary grounding
- Knowledge about cover-up
- Knowledge about MADD
- Knowledge about Personal Protective Equipment
- Field observations; extra set of eyes, identify training needs, communicate with the crews, safety specialist, and crew supervisor.
- Ability to foster a working relationship with crew members and built trust.
- Utilize their experience as to why it's important to follow the rules and why.
- Talk about the accidents they know about that alter an employee's life, their family member, teammate etc.
