Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas with precision and care
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and polishing surfaces to maintain a spotless appearance
- Handle janitorial tasks efficiently by disposing of trash, cleaning windows, dusting furniture, and maintaining overall cleanliness standards
- Follow established safety procedures during cleaning activities and use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment responsibly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for optimal workflow efficiency
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus
- Hands-on experience with various cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning methods and floor care is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of janitorial equipment operation and safety protocols is beneficial
- Previous supervisory or housekeeping management experience can be an asset for those interested in leadership opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
