Physical Therapist - Per Diem
We are seeking a per diem/part time physical therapist to join our team on the beautiful island of Maui, HI. This job position is to prepare and build a caseload for a full time Physical Therapist to join our team at our adult location. The candidate may choose to become a full time W2 employee once the caseload is built to near part time status but it is not required.
- Per diem/PRN position
- Active Hawaii PT license with 1+ year outpatient orthopedic and neurological experience preferred
- Ability to treat both Pediatrics and Adults is a plus!
- Highly unlikely but telehealth services may be required

Maui Speech and Swallow is a small multi-disciplinary therapy private practice for adults and pediatrics. Team members currently consist of occupational therapists and speech language pathologists, servicing a wide variety of populations from infants and toddlers to school-aged, adolescents, and adults or geriatric populations. Areas of Treatment:
- Outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation
- Post-surgical recovery
- Sports injuries
- Musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction
- TBI/stroke
- Neurodegenerative conditions (Parkinson's, MS, etc.)
- Balance, vestibular dysfunction, and fall risk
- Gait training and mobility
- Pediatric orthopedic or neuro experience is a plus!
Job Description:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine individualized treatment plans
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to develop and implement effective therapy strategies
- Independently collaborate with the scheduler to schedule patients for an evaluation or treatment
- Some travel to homes or facilities may be required but highly unlikely
- Maintain professionalism and enthusiasm with clients and staff

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $80.00 per hour
