Live By The Sword Tattoo was established in 2017 in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. We are professional, agile and our goal has been to simplify and elevate the experience of getting a tattoo and piercing by offering improved customer service, intuitive booking options, transparent pricing, and high availability in a safe and stylish setting. The company operates three tattoo & piercing shops and a luxury hair salon in New York City. Due to the size of our locations, which are as large as 4,000 square feet, and up to a 25 person staff on a given shift, we face the challenges of big box retail and high volume restaurants more so than a traditional tattoo shop.
Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operation of your assigned shop location through consistent communication and alignment on common goals. These goals will be inclusive of staff development, in addition to focus on meeting and exceeding company sales goals.
- Have the ability to anticipate the needs of both the employees and clients to ensure both a smooth operation and continued client satisfaction.
- Support upper management in overseeing the master employee schedule to ensure that an appropriate amount of staff is scheduled in each shop to accommodate the service demands of the business. This will also include supporting daily coverage plans, in the event staff members are unable to make it to their shifts.
- Consistent oversight of the shop front desk coordinators, tattoo artists, and piercers to ensure that they are delivering an elevated client experience by providing ongoing feedback and coaching in partnership with the General Manager.
- Please also be aware that this position requires a commitment to evening and weekend shifts.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
