Description of Daily Duties
Supervise and provide in-home care for three adult females with intellectual / developmental disabilities. Two live in their own apartments in Mount Horeb, and one lives with family in Verona.
Includes assisting with ADLs, administering medication, light housekeeping, and engaging in activity.
Facilitate residents' involvement in social, recreational, educational, vocational, and health care by transporting / escorting to appointments and engaging in community outings.
Be reliable, attend occasional trainings and staff meetings.
Provide web-based documentation of the implementation and/or modifications of the residents' individual support plan and daily schedule.
REQUIREMENTS
- One year relevant experience or education supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, seizure disorders, and/or mental health disorders.
- Must pass a thorough background check, health exam and drug screen.
- Able to speak and understand verbal and written instructions in English.
- Able to use technology necessary to perform job responsibilities.
- Able to physically perform all duties related to providing residents assistance with activities of daily living and housekeeping
- Must have a driver's license, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
Advanced experience in caregiving, I/DD support, and behavioral support preferred.
