Haven West Memphis is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our brand-new inpatient behavioral health treatment center. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and fully operational facility while supporting the comfort and well-being of our patients and staff.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (on-call responsibilities)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the facility.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when needed.
- Maintain facility grounds, equipment, and common areas.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and facility policies.
- Participate in on-call maintenance coverage as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in general building maintenance required.
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work, including climbing ladders and working in various environments.
- Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting is a plus.
