Overview
Assist in the production of countertops by facilitating slabs of marble, quartz and granite to CNC machines in a fast paced and organized environment.
Duties
- Safely operate equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, clamp trucks, and Hi-Lo forklifts to load and unload shipments with precision.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems and barcode scanning technology to track materials accurately.
- Pick orders efficiently using order picker equipment while adhering to safety standards in production and warehouse operations.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by verifying shipment contents and preparing items for dispatch.
- Perform manual handling and heavy lifting of materials while following OSHA safety protocols to prevent injuries.
- Conduct routine equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to ensure optimal operation of all material handling machinery.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas, managing stock levels, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts (lift truck), pallet jacks, clamp trucks, or Hi-Lo forklifts.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and barcode scanning for logistics.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks consistently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, order picking, and verifying shipment quantities.
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse distribution is preferred; warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
