Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hemodialysis - Registered Nurse to join Brookdale hospital in Brooklyn NY. This role involves providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatments, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nephrology nursing, with experience in critical care and dialysis procedures, committed to delivering compassionate patient-centered care within a fast-paced clinical setting.
Duties
- Administer hemodialysis treatments accurately and safely, adhering to established protocols and aseptic techniques.
- Monitor patient vital signs and physiological responses throughout dialysis sessions, adjusting care as needed.
- Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, pre- and post-treatment care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nephrologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility standards.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in hemodialysis as a dialysis nurse.
- BLS, ACLS, BSN
- RN License

Option 1 (Preferred)
5 x 10-hour shifts per week
- Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday + Alternating Saturdays
Option 2
4 x 10-hour shifts per week
- Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday + Alternating Saturdays
Hours
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Every other Saturday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Pay: $63.00 per hour
