Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full-Time Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts receivable, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including data entry of journal entries, debits & credits, and account analysis.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Maintain accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and other reports for management review.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices, non-profit accounting, governmental accounting, and technical accounting concepts.
- Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, journal entries, general ledger accounting, and financial report writing.
- Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, accounts payable/receivable management, and budget analysis.
- Ability to interpret financial concepts clearly and communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
