Tatra Solutions, Inc. is looking for an IT Help Desk Technician I to provide support to US Army Garrison – Hawaii (USAG – HI) Information Management Office. IT Help Desk Technician will support areas that include help desk operations, knowledge management systems, and mobile device management systems.
POSITION DETAILS
Location: This position is located at Wheeler Army Airfield. Honolulu, HI area
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, eight (8) hours per day. Start time ideally between 0700 and 0730.
Duration: This is a full-time four (4) year contract opportunity. Benefits are available (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k).
TASKS / DELIVERABLES
- Help Desk and End User Support Requirements
- Provide Tier I and II help desk support and desktop touch labor for MS Windows systems;
- Work with Government to install, configure, troubleshoot, scan, and repair personal computer workstations, classroom workstations, thin client workstations, personal digital assistant (PDA) devices, printers, and operations systems;
- Monitor system performance
- Create, remove, or edit user accounts within Active Directory and/or MS Teams
- Diagnose and repair software or hardware computer problems
- Perform software or hardware upgrades
- Troubleshoot and configure software to user specification
- Knowledge management and SharePoint Administration
QUALIFICATIONS
- U.S. Citizen
- Current Active DOD Secret clearance.
- Must be CompTIA Security+ certified.
- Ability to pass a Federal Background Investigation.
- Education: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in relevant area.
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of verifiable job-related experience in help desk support and end user requirements, knowledge management and SharePoint administration, website management support, VTC support
- Must have very good team-working skills.
- Must have very good customer service skills and experience.
- Shall have the ability to lift/carry up to fifty (50) pounds.
