CIO / VP of Technology – Full Circle ERP & Integrations
Apparel / Fashion Industry | Full-Time | Executive Leadership
We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on CIO / VP of Technology to lead technology for a growing, multi-brand apparel company.
This is NOT a traditional CIO role focused primarily on managing vendors and IT staff. We need a technology leader who can personally get into the systems, understand the database, troubleshoot integrations, write and review code, and build solutions.
Full Circle ERP experience and apparel industry experience are highly preferred.
What You’ll Own
- Lead, support, and optimize our Full Circle ERP environment.
- Design, build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between Full Circle and other business systems.
- Develop and maintain APIs, scripts, automated processes, middleware, and custom applications.
- Work directly with SQL databases, including advanced queries, troubleshooting, reporting, and data validation.
- Integrate Full Circle with Shopify/e-commerce, EDI, 3PL and warehouse systems, shipping platforms, payment processors, financial systems, and other third-party applications.
- Manage EDI integrations with major retailers, including 850, 855, 856, 810, and 846 transactions.
- Troubleshoot order, inventory, fulfillment, integration, and data-sync issues.
- Automate manual processes across Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and Accounting.
- Develop reliable company-wide reporting, data solutions, and Power BI dashboards.
- Improve data accuracy and establish stronger reconciliation and exception-reporting processes.
- Oversee cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365/Azure, system access, backups, and disaster recovery.
- Manage outside IT vendors and developers while remaining personally involved at the technical level.
- Identify and implement AI, automation, and technology opportunities throughout the organization.
- Develop and execute the technology roadmap required to support continued company growth.
What We’re Looking For
YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO CODE — NOT JUST MANAGE DEVELOPERS.
We are looking for strong hands-on experience with several of the following:
- Full Circle ERP – highly preferred
- SQL / Microsoft SQL Server
- Python, C#, .NET, or similar development languages
- REST APIs
- JSON / XML
- EDI
- Shopify / e-commerce integrations
- ERP integrations
- Power BI / Business Intelligence
- ETL and data integration
- Microsoft Azure / Microsoft 365
- Git / source control
- Warehouse / 3PL integrations
- Shipping integrations
- Financial and payment-system integrations
Ideal Background
- 10+ years of progressive technology experience preferred.
- 5+ years of technology leadership experience preferred.
- Previous experience as a CIO, VP of Technology, VP of IT, Director of IT, Director of Business Systems, Enterprise Applications Director, or similar position.
- Strong ERP implementation, development, and integration background.
- Apparel, fashion, footwear, wholesale, retail, or consumer-products experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory, sales orders, purchasing, production, fulfillment, EDI, warehouse operations, and financial systems.
- Proven ability to design and execute integrations between multiple business platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Executive Management while still operating at a highly technical level.
The Person We Want
We’re looking for a builder, problem solver, and technology leader — not simply an IT administrator.
You should be comfortable moving from an executive strategy meeting directly into:
- Troubleshooting a failed API integration
- Reviewing or writing SQL
- Tracing an inventory discrepancy
- Debugging a data-sync issue
- Reviewing or writing code
- Designing an ERP integration
- Automating a manual business process
You understand both technology and business operations and know how to use technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, visibility, and profitability.
If you have built ERP integrations, understand apparel operations, can code, and enjoy solving complex technology problems while leading the company’s overall technology strategy, we want to hear from you.
