Matrix Energy Services is looking for an Experiences Sales Professional to reach out to large businesses and decision makers through the process of upgrading Refrigeration, HVAC and Lighting measures in their facilities. These upgrades will save energy and money while improving safety and aesthetics. Utilizing customer incentives available through utility companies, it is common for these upgrades to pay for themselves through savings on energy bills and on board financing. Deep knowledge of Refrigeration & Motors is desired.
Matrix Energy Service’s responsibilities include prospecting for qualified large business customers and franchise organizations, conducting energy assessments, developing solutions for lighting and refrigeration, presenting proposals to customers, and signing up new customers for the electrical utility program design. Lucrative Base Salary + Commission Structure
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
‒ Conduct onsite energy assessments of non-residential buildings which includes but is not limited to identifying existing refrigeration and lighting equipment
‒ Prospect and develop new business relationships within your territory
‒ Conduct needs analysis to determine the best energy efficiency products for customers
‒ Provide information to customers on available utility incentives and program details
‒ Prepare and present proposals that recommend energy conservation measures, provide customer costs and incentives, and then sell the value proposition to the customer
‒ Maintain strong ongoing communications with customers to assure customer satisfaction
‒ Track pipeline, maintain Outlook calendar with field appointments and monitor progress towards program goals
‒ Meet or exceed set proposal and sales objectives
‒ Responsible for representing the company in a professional manner and abiding by all safety and employee guidelines.
‒ Responsible for maintaining and protecting all company equipment issued
‒ Skillfully introduce Matrix Energy Services and our Utility Partners and explain the energy savings program to the customer
‒ Perform an energy assessment of a customer’s business according to the program guidelines
‒ Identify and record opportunities for saving energy and review them with the customer
‒ Explain the enrollment process and collect all necessary documents
‒ Sell the customer on the benefits of energy efficiency upgrades
‒ Discuss the installation process and any special accommodations the customer may need
Qualifications:
‒ Self-motivated, accountable, sales-oriented mentality
‒ Outgoing personality and the ability to interact positively with people and provide excellent customer service
‒ Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
‒ Detail-oriented with the ability to work to schedules and objectives
‒ Ability to learn and present energy efficient lighting and refrigeration concepts
‒ Proven ability to conduct successful cold calls and generate leads
‒ Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
‒ Local working knowledge of assigned territory preferred
‒ Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
‒ Proficiency with technology, including use of iPad and MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
‒ Must possess a valid driver’s license applicable to state laws and dependable transportation
‒ Ability to conduct cold calls and meet with business owners face-to-face
‒ Maintain a good driving record, valid driver’s license, and a qualified level of vehicle insurance
‒ Pass all background and drug screens
