Project Manager | Commercial Restaurant Construction | Nationwide Travel

Ameritech Facility Services is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a General Contractor background to lead commercial restaurant renovation and interior fit-out projects for nationally recognized brands.
If you've managed restaurant remodels, tenant improvements, retail renovations, or commercial interior construction from preconstruction through closeout, we want to talk to you.
Commercial restaurant construction experience is required.
What You'll Do
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects from kickoff through closeout.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project.
- Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, vendors, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, permits, inspections, and project documentation.
- Recruit, qualify, onboard, and manage subcontractors nationwide.
- Conduct site surveys, preconstruction meetings, job walks, and customer meetings.
- Identify project risks early and develop solutions before they impact schedules.
- Maintain project budgets while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities for additional work.
- Keep project management software updated with current project information.
- Participate in conference calls, company meetings, and occasional trade shows.
Required Experience
We're looking for someone who has:
- 10+ years of Project Management experience on the General Contractor side of commercial construction.
- Direct experience managing restaurant renovations, restaurant remodels, retail renovations, tenant improvements, or commercial interior fit-outs.
- Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors across multiple trades.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction including framing, drywall, flooring, ceilings, paint, millwork, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and finish work.
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, permitting, inspections, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Proven ability to complete projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing national restaurant rollout programs.
- Experience with occupied renovations and fast-track remodels.
- General contracting experience.
- Existing network of commercial subcontractors.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar software.
