Tidewater Security Group is seeking professional and dependable Unarmed Security Guards to join our team. Security Guards will help maintain a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and responding to incidents in a professional manner.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor access points and control entry to authorized personnel only.
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas.
- Secure buildings, entrances, exits, gates, and designated areas.
- Verify credentials and monitor visitor activity.
- Monitor and respond professionally to security concerns and emergency.
- Write detailed and accurate reports and document incidents.
- Assist with traffic control when required.
- Help prevent incidents and maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and property.
- Follow all company safety and security procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service while on duty.
- Work closely with supervisors, management and team members.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and observation skills.
- Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
- Professional attitude and dependable attendance.
- Ability to stand, sit, and patrol for extended periods in different weather environments.
- No prior experience required (training provided).
- Wisconsin Guard Card (we can help you through the process to obtain licensing if needed.)
