SUMMARY
Utilizes various hand tools to assemble sheet metal, piping, and other types of component subassemblies for commercial cooking appliances and other products by performing the following duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Fastens sheet metal, piping, and other types of parts together with bolts, nuts, screws, clips, rivets, studs or other fasteners using various common and specialized hand tools, and applies sealant to joints where specified.
Inspects parts/assemblies for conformance to dimensional specifications using common measuring devices such as rulers (scales) and calipers, and utilizing simple engineering or assembly drawings, and inspects for conformance to other established specifications such as appearance criteria.
Performs functional testing of mechanical or electrical components/assemblies, as applicable and required.
Records production and quality assurance data, such as part numbers, quantities, serial numbers, and inspection measurements/results, on designated forms, tags, charts, or records.
Performs all job activities in accordance with training, work instructions, and established company procedures.
Maintains work area (equipment, tools, etc.) in a neat and orderly manner.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, feel, grip and/or squeeze. The employee is frequently required to talk and hear, and is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 5 pounds, frequently lift up to 10 pounds, and in certain work assignments may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
