Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in evaluating patient needs and developing tailored treatment strategies.
- Implement prescribed therapeutic exercises and manual handling techniques to improve patient mobility, strength, and function.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, report changes in condition, and document therapy sessions accurately using electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, injury prevention, and post-treatment care to foster ongoing wellness at home.
- Support patient safety by adhering to basic life support (BLS) and CPR protocols during therapy sessions.
- Manage medical documentation with precision, including recording patient responses, treatment outcomes, and medical terminology accurately.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless communication regarding patient condition reporting and care adjustments.

- Proficiency in medical terminology, medical documentation, and electronic health records (EHR) management.
- Strong client communication skills to effectively educate patients about their treatment plans and health education topics.
