We’re looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team!
Maintenance Assistant duties include but not limited to facilitating the successful physical community operations by performing repairs and maintenance (plumbing, painting, light electrical, light HVAC, etc.) of the property that will promote a high sense of well-being and aesthetic appeal for residents, families and staff. This position will report to the Maintenance Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner
· Assist with move-in and move-out preparations, including room readiness
· Perform room turnovers to ensure units are clean, functional, and ready for occupancy
· Conduct basic electrical maintenance and minor repairs
· Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues
· Handle drywall patching, finishing, and minor wall repairs
· Repair and maintain appliances as needed
· Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions of floors and common areas
· Install, remove, and adjust doors, including lock repairs
· Perform painting, wall texturing, and wallpaper installation as required
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent certificate and a degree or certificate from a two-year technical school program preferred.
· Must possess demonstrated success in a similar position.
· May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification and valid Driver’s License.
· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Possess basic math solving skills.
Work Schedule:
- Tuesday - Saturday
- 9:00am - 5:30pm

Pay: $19.88 - $22.00 per hour
