Job Store Staffing is hiring a Part Time Front Lobby Unarmed Security Guard to support a secure, youth-centered facility. This role is focused on maintaining a safe and controlled entry point while providing a professional and respectful presence.
The Unarmed Security Guard is a non-engagement role. If suspicious activity is observed, you will report it via radio rather than intervene directly.
Start Date: July 1st, 2026

· Lakewood: S Wadsworth and W Mansfield
o Saturday & Sunday: 12 PM-8 PM
· Denver: North Downing and E 28th
o Sat/Sun 5:30am-1:30pm
o Sat/Sun 12pm- 8pm
· Golden: S Golden and Johnson
o Sat/Sun 5:30am-1:30pm
o Sat/Sun 12pm- 8pm
· Centennial: S Potomac and Fremont
o Sat/Sun 5:30am-1:30pm
o Sat/Sun 12pm- 8pm
· Brighton: E I-76 and Cooperative Way
o Sat/Sun 5:30am-1:30pm
o Sat/Sun 12pm- 8pm
Unarmed Security Guard Key Responsibilities:
- Search all bags, deliveries, and personal items entering the facility
- Monitor individuals passing through a metal detector
- Conduct wanding or pat-downs when necessary
- Ensure only approved items are brought inside
- Perform exterior walkthroughs to observe for suspicious activity (as needed)
- Identify concerns such as attempted fence breaches or contraband
Unarmed Security Guard Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Previous security experience or strong customer service background
- Comfortable enforcing rules in a professional and respectful manner
- Ability to remain alert, calm, and composed in a structured environment
- Strong communication skills
Work Environment & Requirements:
- Weapon-free facility
- No phones or personal electronics allowed inside (must be left in vehicle)
- Business casual dress code (belt and closed-toe shoes required)
