General Manager
We are searching for a General Manager for Saint Genevieve, a restaurant in the Minneapolis' Lynnhurst neighborhood;

St G is a chef-centric, hospitality driven company. The chef/owner is a James Beard Award nominee and is well established in this market. The success to date has been on the food and service, as well as a philosophy of care for the well being of the people in the business.
The position would be in charge of our French restaurant concept with a beautiful bar offering a thoughtfully curated beverage program. The menu focuses on classic French cuisine.
We’re searching for an exceptional person with the leadership experience of having successfully led others in a growing restaurant.
This person will also have a track record of:
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager
- Working knowledge of restaurant financial and profit systems
- Understanding of restaurant systems and processes
- Interest in developing and practicing a supportive, learning-based management style
- Effectively communicating across the organization
- Computer skills with knowledge of spreadsheets, web-based scheduling software and app-based communication tools
- Leading collaboratively
The process will include multiple interviews from stakeholders and leaders within the organization as well as a stage.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00+ per year total compensation
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food service and hospitality management.
- Train and supervise staff, fostering a positive team environment and enhancing service quality.
- Manage inventory control and food preparation processes to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Handle cash management and POS operations, ensuring accurate transactions and financial reporting.
- Lead recruitment efforts, conducting interviews and onboarding new team members effectively.
- Maintain organizational standards and compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining experience.
