Responsibilities -
Responsible for performing medical nutrition therapy to facility residents, monitor nutritional status, and make recommendations to improve resident nutritional status.
Participate in IDT, care plan, weight variance, skin management, and CQI meetings as needed.
Conduct kitchen sanitation audits and staff in-service for foodservice workers and nursing staff as appropriate.
Maintain clear and closer communication with administrative team and the IDT members.
Requirements -
Active and valid registered dietitian license per state regulations.
Reliable transportation to and from the assigned facility.
Prior experience in long term care facility consulting is desired but not necessary. Initial training may be provided.
32-40hrs/ week (work days are flexible)
Some work may be completed remotely. At least 2 days/wk on-site.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
