Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position will support daily café operations as well as catering preparation.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including sandwiches, salads, charcuterie, desserts, and catering items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, prep area, and storage spaces
- Wash, cut, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Support baristas and front-of-house staff during peak hours
- Help with dishwashing and general cleaning tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred but not required (we will train the right candidate)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Flexibility to work weekends and mornings
