Responsibilities
- Observe and monitor patients’ mental and physical status continuously to identify changes or signs of distress.
- Assist in implementing behavior management plans and behavioral interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
- Support patients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and promoting independence whenever possible.
- Respond promptly to crises to ensure safety for all.
- Document patient interactions, observations, medication administration, and behavioral responses accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or mental health conditions preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques, crisis intervention, and de-escalation methods.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient monitoring practices, and psychiatric patient care protocols.
- Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
