Senior Claim Consultant | Public Adjuster
Who is this for?
Are you currently an experienced Staff Adjuster or Independent Adjuster who has grown disenchanted by the carrier grind?
Are you tired of advocating for the carrier’s interests, arbitrary and mind-numbing rules to pay or deny claims, and the phalanxes of biased vendors who operate at the behest of carriers at the expense of their policyholders?
Do you suffer from the nagging pain that you’re selling yourself short everyday by working for the carrier, because you know deep down that you have so much more potential, and you never dreamt that you would be an enabler of a soulless monolith that shamelessly advertises promising tag lines to property owners, takes their hard-earned funds for premiums, but doesn’t pay claims properly because it only cares about the company’s profits and shareholders?
If this resonates with you, you might be a good fit for a Public Adjuster role at Manhattan Public Adjustment.
Public Adjuster Opportunity Overview
As a Public Adjuster at Manhattan Public Adjustment, you will have the opportunity to use your adjustment knowledge and experience to level the playing field and represent and advocate for the interests of policyholders during the claims process, not their insurance companies.
It’s not an easy job, however. To be successful as a Public Adjuster at our firm, you must possess a fiery passion for helping people in their time of need. You must be driven, aggressive, hardworking, self-sacrificing, attentive, ethical, and willing to put yourself in any position to help our clients achieve results. In this role, you will work long hours and must manage yourself in high-pressure situations, but in doing so, you will spend yourself on a worthy cause advocating for the policyholder, become a leader in this industry, and earn the compensation commensurate with that status.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate must not only have the claims acumen to develop successful claim strategies for large and complex claims, but also the administrative and marketing smarts, energy, stamina to execute claim strategies with speed and precision and persistence to build and maintain relentless momentum for policyholders in the claims process.
As far as personality, the ideal candidate also possesses strong leadership skills, a passion for helping people, knows how to identify and exploit opportunities, isn’t afraid of personal growth, enjoys a challenge, possess supreme self-confidence, believes in their ability to solve problems, and exhibits a standard of excellence and ethics in everything that they do, both personally and professionally.
