Pizza Maker
Amore Taste of Chicago is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Pizza Maker to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing high-quality food, works efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and is committed to maintaining consistency and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Prepare fresh pizza dough and house-made sauces.
- Cut, grate, slice, and portion toppings and other ingredients.
- Stretch, top, and bake pizzas while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor pizza ovens and remove food and debris as needed to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station throughout each shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed.
- Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning duties when necessary.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation during busy service periods.
Qualifications:
- Previous pizza-making or kitchen experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
