Our Greensboro Corporate Fleet Department is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our fleet vehicles, contributing significantly to the success of our projects. Responsibilities Include:

Use AMCS, Mix Telematics, Comdata fleetcard systems, & various MS platforms to monitor, record, and ensure that PM schedules, repairs, and related inspections are being carried out.

Interact with 3rd party shops & D.H. Griffin team members as required.

Ensure D.H. Griffin Companys compliance with inspection records and repair reporting per FMCSA

Be the main POC for service, repair, and recovery tasks in concert with fleet manager or assistant fleet manager.

Other fleet duties as required i.e. departmental pay records, ordering of office supplies, keeping department tool inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor daily DVIR reporting to ensure all vehicles are operating properly and legally.

Main POC for fleet PO issuance and subsequent follow though in Timberline accounting platform.

Fleet credit card over-rides and issuance. Many times, outside normal working hours.

Perform daily driver vehicle inspection report review, addressing all deficiencies and anomalies in coordination with the assistant fleet manager.

Ensure that all annual inspections are kept current in concert with fleet administrator.

Crosstrain with fleet administrator and analyst to cover PTO.

Specific Compliance Essentials: Understanding the importance of potential legal liability to the company to include: Know and understand the requirements of FMCSA, DOT & IFTA; Know, understand, and comply with FMCSA, DOT & IFTA policies/procedures. Recognize deficiencies and bring to Fleet Managers attention for action; Participate in vehicle inspections; Can be trusted with confidential information; Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:-
Demonstrate ability to analyze data using multiple web-based platforms.

Ability to accurately use multiple types of electronic devices such as smart phones, tablets, computers, and electronic log devices.

Demonstrate understanding in the operational capabilities and limitations of heavy hauling trucks, heavy dump truck, and trucks with tow-behind trailers.

Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate to drivers, technicians, supervisors, management, and vendors.

Self-driven, requiring limited supervision after position 90-day training period.

Capable of working alone or in a team environment.
-
Ability to communicate effectively in English. Spanish is a plus.
Educations and/or Experience: Minimum of two years of full-time, hands-on supervisory experience and/or 2-year school in a technical field.
