O'B's Neighborhood Bar (opening September 2026) is looking for motivated line/prep cooks for our small menu kitchen concept. We specialize in high quality and house-made, with a commitment to local when it comes to our products and vendors. Even though the menu is selective, we're aiming to have a little something for everyone, including vegetarian, vegan, and allergen friendly options.
What you need:
- Basic kitchen skills: safety (injury/fire prevention), recipe comprehension, knifework, cleaning and sanitation (including common allergen awareness), dishwashing (machine + triple sink set-up)
- Cooking skills: Fry - basic operation, filtering/cleaning skills a plus. Grill/Saute - basic operation skills (no specialty training or experience required, but is a plus). Make/expo - strong experience in fast-paced, high-volume kitchens is not required, but preferred. Prep - basic knife cuts, familiarity with small electric kitchen equipment is a plus
- Availability: this is primarily an evening/night role, with possibility to expand to daytime hours (not required) - Approx. 4pm - 11:30 pm. Weekend availability is required (Fri/Sat/Sun)

- Hourly pay: begins at $20 an hour, based on experience. Structured raise system in development :)
