Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment in our dental clinic. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral hygiene practices and assisting the dentist during various procedures.
Duties
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
- Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure comprehensive care.
- Perform necessary diagnostic procedures, including medical imaging.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Assist with pediatric patients, providing gentle care tailored to their needs.
- Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
- Stay updated on dental terminology and best practices to enhance patient care.
Skills
- Proficiency in documentation review to maintain accurate patient records.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures to uphold safety standards in the clinic.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
- Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred for seamless integration into our team.
