Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces with attention to quality and consistency
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to produce perfect crusts and toppings
- Follow recipes meticulously to ensure flavor accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas in accordance with food safety procedures
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties and seasonal specials
- Manage high-volume production during busy hours while maintaining quality control
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and safety protocols are adhered to at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, pizza making, or kitchen operations is highly preferred
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating commercial kitchen equipment
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation in a fast-paced environment
- Background in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
