Job Summary
We are on the lookout for a versatile and energetic Handyman/Maintenance Pro to keep our facilities running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for a wide range of maintenance tasks, ensuring that everything from electrical systems to mechanical equipment and HVAC systems, keeping all equipment in top shape. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance across facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Troubleshoot issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and tools like ohmmeters to identify faults quickly.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems are a plus.
- Conduct repairs such as welding, painting, or replacing parts to restore equipment or infrastructure.
- Work various maintenance projects when needed, coordinating with team members to ensure quality work.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance activities to prevent accidents or hazards.
- Assist with facilities upkeep by maintaining cleanliness, organizing tools and supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
Experience in facilities maintenance or a similar hands-on role involving electrical, mechanical, or plumbing work.
- Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals related to building systems.
- Skilled in welding and painting; familiarity with manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and plumbing systems is a plus.
- HVAC Certified is a plus.
- Ability to operate testing tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot electrical circuits effectively.
- Good communication skills in English for clear reporting and collaboration with team members and supervisors.
