Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments for VA disability claims and psychological testing to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Offer specialized support for clients with PTSD, addiction issues, and trauma-related disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines.
- Supervise less experienced clinicians or interns while maintaining high standards of patient care and documentation.
- Maintain accurate medical records, conduct patient assessments, and document progress in accordance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology or Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.
- Valid licensure or certification as a licensed psychologist or clinical counselor in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities.
- Experience working in hospital settings or outpatient clinics with knowledge of inpatient and outpatient care procedures.
- Strong skills in psychological testing, behavioral health assessments, and evidence-based treatment planning.
- Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering services remotely while ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and clinical ethical guidelines is essential.
- Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.
