Field Inventory Specialist
What You Can Expect
The Field Inventory Specialist is responsible for the management of inventory physically and systematically at a specific account, entity, or Sales Team. This position supports all operations and sales goals, especially those that seek to optimize inventory levels and protect company assets while elevating the satisfaction of the customer’s experience.
How You'll Create Impact
- Support/Assist the Sales Team with stock on loan for assigned account
- Field Inventory Specialist will set out loaner implants and make them ready for pick up for office based off stock on loan date
- Field Inventory Specialist will locate/unwrap loaner instrumentation and make them ready for pick up for the office based off stock on loan date
- If items are discrepant or instrumentation still wrapped/being utilized for a case communication will be sent to sales team by Field Asset Team
- Support/Assist the Sales Team on the management of inventory at account
- Field Inventory Specialist can help with logistics for case emergencies / field moves
- Support/Assist the sales team in setup and breakdown of cases / labs / demos
- Support/Assist the sales team by expediting instrumentation needed to be processed for surgery in SPD, assist with the movement of instrument sets between SPD and OR
- Field Inventory Specialist will print labels out and physically tag loaner trays
- Answer non-clinical inventory questions for sales team/account
- Shipping Discrepancies
- Field Inventory Specialist will assist by scheduling/conducting audits at Account assigned to
- Field Inventory Specialist will assist Sales Team when trying to reconcile audit results
- Expired Inventory
- Field Inventory Specialist will assist Sales Team by performing available inventory swaps on expired inventory provided by ZB-NYC Asset Management.
- Field Inventory Specialist will assist sales team by setting out any available expired swaps that are ready for pick up and communicate to the office/sales team-Field Inventory Specialist will assist Sales Team by expediting the return of a PER.-Support/Assist ZB-NYC Asset Management on reinstatement of consignment after bulk inventory is burned down.
- Field Inventory Specialist will assist Sales Team by pulling and setting out any recalled / rationalized inventory communicated to the sales team from ZB-NYC Asset Management
- Support/Assist sales team on the utilization of bulk buy inventory (Bulk Buy Related)
- Swapping inventory on shelf

What Makes You Stand Out
- Computer literate with intermediate to advanced familiarity with MS Excel
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially the ability to foster positive relationships with all internal and external (sales) personnel
- Results-oriented with the ability to accomplish work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures, written and oral, at all times
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Ability to work unsupervised on assigned tasks
- Demonstrated analytical skills, especially in the areas of process improvement and problem solving.
- Highly developed organizational skills – able to handle multiple high priority tasks/projects concurrently
- Must be able to perform frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping and heavy lifting (50 lbs).
Your Background
- HS Diploma, G.E.D. equivalent or equivalent experience required.
- One to two years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Experience with Inventory Control practices and data analysis preferred.
- Frequent lifting required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Will require vendor credentialing.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
