Tap Yard Raleigh is a new beer garden & bar concept in Raleigh. The bar is located on the outskirts of downtown, directly next door to Runnologie & Pine State Coffee. Now hiring for all shifts & bar positions.
Tap Yard is now taking applications for experienced bartenders, and bar backs to work in our fast-paced environment featuring two full bars, a large indoor space, a spacious family-friendly and dog-friendly outdoor beer garden along with live music, food trucks and weekly events.
Qualified candidates will need to be both fast, but also able to build a set of regular guests. Outgoing, enthusiastic personality is a must!
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
