Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic finance and human resources team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all employees across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in payroll management systems and accounting software, with a keen eye for compliance and data accuracy. Duties
- The Payroll Assistant supports accurate and timely payroll processing by handling data entry, timekeeping verification, and wage calculations.
- This role requires strong attention to detail, numerical skills, and effective communication to ensure employees are paid correctly and records remain compliant.
- Payroll Processing: Assist in bi-weekly payroll, including data entry, timekeeping, and wage/deduction calculations.
- Verification: Review timekeeping records, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accuracy in hours worked.
- Employee Communication: Respond to payroll, tax, and deduction inquiries professionally via email and phone.
- Record Keeping: Maintain secure and organized payroll records in compliance with company
- policies and legal standards.
- Team Support: Collaborate with payroll team members, assist colleagues, and contribute to smooth payroll operations.
MUST HAVE:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of Payroll processing experience
- Should have knowledge of timekeeping (timesheet), calculation of wages and payroll deductions
- Should have experience on UKG Dimensions (formerly known as Kronos Workforce Dimensions) for Payroll or Should have experience of Oracle (Oracle HCM or Oracle Payroll) for payroll processing
- Should be open to working overtime
Shift Timings: 8AM-4:30PM, M-F
