Medical Laboratory Technician
Location: Lake Geneva, Wisconsin
Pay Rate: $56/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift, 40 hours per week
Experience: Experience preferred; Hematology and Blood Bank experience required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Laboratory Scientist for a 13-week day-shift contract opportunity in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. This role supports laboratory testing and specimen processing in a hospital setting and requires strong generalist lab skills, high-complexity testing qualifications, quality control knowledge, and experience in hematology and blood bank.
Responsibilities
Collect and process patient specimens for laboratory testing
Perform lab testing in hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, blood bank, or microbiology
Analyze test results for accuracy before releasing results to patient charts
Report and document critical results, quality control, and proficiency testing activities
Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support training of new staff or students
Requirements
MLT/MLS Generalist Certification Or Specialty Certification Required
Hematology And Blood Bank Experience Required
Must qualify to perform high-complexity testing under CLIA standards
Education verification required
EPIC experience preferred; must be available for day shift and holiday coverage
