Contract Overview:
- Seasonal Drivers: October through December

Duties
- Safely operate a personal white cargo van to execute daily delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, ensuring proper weight distribution and safe lifting practices.
- Conduct manual handling of goods, including heavy lifting and moving items within warehouses or delivery locations.
- Use mobile devices and route management software to navigate efficiently, track deliveries, and communicate with dispatch teams.
- Provide outstanding customer service by delivering packages accurately, on time, and with a professional attitude.
- Load and secure shipments using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents during routes for accountability and reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or commercial truck driving with a focus on manual handling and heavy lifting.
- Valid personal vehicle (white cargo van) with sufficient space for cargo transport; ownership must be reliable for daily use.
- Prior experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is preferred but not mandatory if you have strong driving skills.
- Knowledge of DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and weight handling standards in the workplace.
- Ability to load, unload, and manually handle packages safely while following best practices for heavy lifting.
- Familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation and communication purposes.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor during interactions with clients.
- Strong organizational skills to manage route schedules efficiently and ensure timely deliveries.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with courier or delivery driver roles is highly valued.
