Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle retail sales transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing receipts
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring a clean environment for both customers and staff
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure prompt service and food delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation within quick service or fast food restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Previous experience in culinary roles or café environments is highly desirable
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude
