About Us
We're a growing food brand selling directly to customers who love what we make. We're past the "does this work?" stage — we have real products, real customers, and real momentum. The question now is how we scale what's working, tighten what's messy, and build the operational backbone to support the next phase of growth.
What's missing is a second brain: someone who can take the day-to-day chaos of a growing company and turn it into systems, priorities, and things that actually get done.
The Role
This is a true hybrid — part chief of staff, part operator, part "whatever the business needs this week." It's the most trusted seat in the company after mine.
You'll sit close to every decision, spot the gaps before they become fires, build the processes that keep them from coming back, and own real projects end to end. You're not waiting for a playbook — you're helping write it.
The right person thrives in ambiguity, has strong opinions held loosely, and gets genuine satisfaction from turning a messy situation into a clean one.
What You'll Do
- Be the founder right hand — keep our priorities straight and make sure nothing important slips through the cracks
- Keep our operations running smoothly — vendors, orders, logistics, and a small team that includes overseas teammates across time zones
- Take projects off my plate from start to finish: you get the goal, you run with it, you bring the result
- Spot the operational gaps — a process that keeps breaking, a deadline that keeps slipping, a handoff that keeps failing — and own the fix
- Help coordinate our growth and marketing efforts, track what's actually working, and keep us accountable to our priorities
- Build the lightweight systems and rhythms that keep a growing company organized without drowning it in process
- Be a thought partner and a forcing function for focus
What You Bring
Must-haves
- 5–7+ years supporting a founder or executive as their right hand, or running operations at a small, scrappy company. You know how to make a lot happen with limited resources.
- Ridiculously organized — you're the person whose to-do list actually gets done, and who keeps everyone else's on track too
- Bias toward action — you default to doing the thing rather than scheduling a meeting about the thing
- Comfort with ambiguity and constant context-switching — you might go from a vendor negotiation to a marketing deadline to a process fix in a single morning
- Sharp written and verbal communication — you can fire off a clear vendor email, keep the team aligned, and draft something polished, all in the same day
- Systems thinking — you see how a missed deadline, a fuzzy process, and a team mix-up all connect, and you fix the root cause
Strong preferences
- Experience in food, CPG, e-commerce, or DTC
- You've coordinated remote or international teammates across time zones
- Comfort with the tools of a small modern company: Google Workspace, project/ops platforms, e-commerce dashboards — or you pick new tools up fast
- You've helped with hiring before — sourcing, screening, coordinating
You do not need a fancy title or 20 years of experience. I'm looking for someone capable, motivated, and ready to grow into more — not someone coasting on a résumé.
What You'll Get
- $75,000-$85,000/year, full-time, plus performance-based bonus potential
- Paid time off
- Fully remote, with roughly 8–9am to 4–5pm ET hours and some flexibility
- A seat at the table from day one — real visibility into how the whole business runs
- Direct partnership with a founder, and the kind of access and ownership you can't get in a big company
- Room to grow your role and scope as the company grows — this is a build-with-me opportunity, not a clock-in job
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
