Position Summary:
Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing a wide variety of warehouse, inventory, delivery, and project support duties as a member of our warehouse and logistics teams. The primary responsibility is to aid the warehouse, logistics, projects, and rentals teams. The main functions are inventory, order prep, inspection, delivery, onsite deployments, and events. The position reports directly to the Production Manager and receives daily technical supervision from Warehouse Lead.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store all inbound shipments.
- Record and report damage and/or discrepancies found. Notify the appropriate staff of the receipt of equipment and supplies.
- Properly package, label, and document outbound 3PL shipments. Schedule the pick-up of outbound shipments with parcel delivery services and trucking companies.
- Pull rental equipment to support rentals. Return rental equipment to storage upon its return.
- Pull customer equipment from storage to support client projects in a timely manner.
- Conduct inventories audits when circumstances dictate one is necessary.
- Process surplus equipment to the surplus pallet and make ready for pickup.
- Warehouse sanitation. Clean and organize warehouse daily, including trash removal.
- Operate a forklift truck.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· 1 year of related experience with High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
· Ability to stand for extended periods during the workday and lift or carry 10-50 lbs repeatedly.
· Valid Wisconsin Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
· Truck driving experience with Class B or Class A license desired.
· Warehouse experience, including Receiving, Inventory, Picking, Packing, Loading, and Shipping.
· Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
· Experience and demonstrated aptitude for space planning, organization, and inventory movement.
· Basic computer experience using MS Windows, email, web browsers, etc.
· Experience using serialized barcode scanning data entry systems.
· Attention to detail, specifically accuracy of inventory and documentation.
· Ability to function and perform assigned duties with limited direct supervision.
· Basic business level verbal and written communication skills.
Work Schedule and Travel:
- The work schedule for this position varies based on client project schedules and requires periodic overnight travel. The position typically works 40 hours per week with periodic overtime. Travel 5 -10 % dependent on project locations during normal business hours are 8am-5pm Mon-Fri.
