THE ROLE
We are seeking a board-certified Sleep Medicine physician (MD/DO) to join SLIIIP as an independent contractor at a minimum of 0.6 FTE. You will carry your own patient panel, conducting comprehensive telehealth evaluations and managing the full spectrum of sleep disorders across multiple states, with the freedom and flexibility of 1099 contractor status. Some flexibility with Saturday scheduling is available.
This is a fully remote position built for a physician who wants to practice excellent sleep medicine without the overhead, politics, or administrative drag of a traditional health system. We expect our physicians to stay engaged until each patient's sleep issues are fully resolved, with thoughtful follow-up and a genuine investment in outcomes.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Conduct comprehensive telehealth sleep evaluations and ongoing follow-up visits
Diagnose and manage OSA/PAP therapy, insomnia (including BBT; CBT-I experience a plus), RLS/PLMD, EDS, and other sleep disorders
Develop individualized treatment plans with a focus on long-term resolution of sleep issues
Champion women's sleep health, including sleep changes across hormonal transitions
Maintain thorough, timely clinical documentation using our practice management software
Collaborate with the SLIIIP clinical team and stay current with developments in sleep medicine
Pursue multi-state licensure to expand access to patients across the country
WHO YOU ARE
MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical licensure (multi-state or NLC compact preferred)
Board-certified in Sleep Medicine (ABSM) required
Naturally engaging on camera, warm and collaborative with patients in a virtual environment
Highly efficient with clinical software and committed to completing notes promptly
Relentless in follow-up, you stay with patients until the problem is solved
Genuinely curious, committed to continued learning, and excited by advances in the field
Interested in or experienced with women's sleep health and/or metabolic/obesity medicine
DEA license (or willingness to obtain) preferred
