Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our team to excellence. Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, customer service, and staff supervision
- Oversee inventory control, food safety standards, and compliance with health regulations
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure smooth transaction processes
- Supervise kitchen operations, including food production, catering, banquets, and quick service food outlets
- Conduct staff training, development programs, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team
- Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures and shift reconciliation
- Monitor profit and loss statements to analyze financial performance and implement strategies for growth
- Coordinate shift management to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak hours
- Oversee food safety management practices to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and quality assurance
- Foster a positive team environment by motivating staff, promoting teamwork, and leading by example
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management with a focus on food industry operations including casual dining, fine dining, or quick service environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; adept at troubleshooting technical issues
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams and supervising staff across multiple departments
- Expertise in food handling, culinary processes, kitchen management, and food safety protocols
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Skilled in inventory control, budgeting, cost analysis, and profit & loss management
- Ability to train and develop team members through effective coaching and mentoring strategies
- Experience in managing catering services, banquet events, bar operations, or hotel food services is a plus
- Strong communication skills for interviewing candidates, conducting staff training sessions, and collaborating with vendors or partners
- Demonstrated ability to lead with energy and motivation while maintaining high standards of hospitality excellence
