CAD/CAM Dental Technician – Crown & Bridge

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CAD/CAM Dental Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2–5+ years of experience in digital crown and bridge fabrication and be proficient in 3Shape Dental System.
The right candidate will have a strong understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, margins, contacts, and proper restorative design. This position is ideal for a technician who takes pride in producing accurate, functional, and esthetically pleasing restorations while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Design crowns and bridges using 3Shape Dental System
- Review digital scans and prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
- Properly identify and mark margins
- Design restorations with appropriate contacts, occlusion, anatomy, and emergence profiles
- Design anterior and posterior restorations with attention to esthetics and function
- Make adjustments to digital designs based on doctor and technician specifications
- Prepare completed designs for milling and/or manufacturing
- Communicate with production technicians regarding case requirements and design modifications
- Maintain accuracy and consistency while meeting production deadlines
- Troubleshoot digital cases and design issues as needed
- Maintain organized digital case files and follow laboratory procedures
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of dental CAD/CAM design experience
- 3Shape Dental System experience required
- Strong experience specifically with crown and bridge
- Solid understanding of dental anatomy and occlusion
- Ability to accurately evaluate margins, contacts, and bite
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to read and understand dental prescriptions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous dental laboratory experience required
Preferred Experience
- CDT Certification (Preferred but not required)
- Zirconia restorations
- E.max restorations
- Implant crowns and bridges
- Anterior esthetic cases
- Full-arch cases
- Digital impression/scanning workflows
- Experience preparing cases for milling
