Member Services Representative-Teller

Overview:
Looking for a highly motivated, positive, and dedicated individual who enjoys meeting and helping people, a team player, great communicator, is detailed oriented, has a desire to learn and have a positive impact on an organization as well as the community.
Roles and Duties:
Assist members with financial transactions including, but not limited to; member deposits and withdrawals, ordering member checks and debit cards, maintaining member information and servicing vault/ATM.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience: Six months to two years of similar or related experience is helpful.
Education: High school education or GED equivalent.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work will involve motivating or influencing others and being a team player. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and /or individuals) becomes necessary.
Other Skills: Good listening and telephone skills. Able to operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, and computer. Working knowledge of Windows, Excel, and Word is required. Experience using financial credit union software is a plus. Able to make decisions with minimal information and be detailed in data evaluation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
