Overview
We are seeking a part-time mobile veterinarian with USDA APHIS Category 1 accreditation that will perform physical exams for screwworm on our canine clients and issue the accompanying certificates for international travel.
Duties
- Ability to work as a mobile veterinarian.
- Perform the physical exam for screwworm and complete the certificate for international travel (contingent on the pet passing the exam, of course).
Experience
- Experience handling dogs of all sizes during a physical evaluation.
We're looking to host screwworm certification "clinics" throughout the week and weekend. Hours and days are flexible. We're open to mornings, afternoons, and/or early evenings any day of the week.
Our clients will bring their canine companions to a single location where you would evaluate them for screwworm and issue the certificate if deemed free of screwworm.
Pay: $120.00 - $160.00 per hour
