About the Role
We’re looking for a curious and hardworking R&D Lab Assistant to join the team. This is a hands-on role involving the full product lifecycle: formulation, regulatory compliance, compounding, quality testing, and documentation.
What You’ll Do
- Formulate and reformulate new R&D products with a focus on quality and compliance (training provided)
- Compound products by weighing, heating, mixing, and measuring raw materials with precision
- Perform QA testing on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Log batch records and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with sourcing raw materials
- Keep lab equipment, tools, and workspaces clean and organized
- Follow all safety and production protocols to maintain a smooth, compliant operation
What We’re Looking For
- Familiarity with the scientific method and how to apply it in a hands-on setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Punctual, reliable and accountable
- Problem solving & research skills
- Enthusiasm for learning and developing new skills
- Previous cosmetic compounding, lab, or manufacturing experience preferred (training provided as needed)
