Responsibilities

- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other educational technology tools to enhance instruction and track student progress.
- Adapt instructional approaches based on individual learning styles, performance data, and special needs such as autism or other developmental considerations.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings or written updates.
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop curriculum implementation strategies, share best practices, and ensure educational compliance.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods; analyze student performance data to inform instructional modifications.
- Incorporate proofing techniques like proofreading and editing into literacy education to improve student writing skills.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, educational technology integration, and classroom management techniques.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children across different age groups in classroom settings.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and curriculum implementation processes.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and integrating learning technology into daily lessons.
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and faculty collaboration.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies based on diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
- Expertise in classroom management, behavior management strategies, and instructional modifications for special needs students.
- Proficiency in proofreading, creative writing techniques, and literacy education fundamentals.
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds; sensitivity to varied learning needs including autism spectrum disorder.
- Knowledge of educational compliance regulations, standardized testing procedures, and assessment data analysis.
- Background in physical education or tutoring is a plus; experience in private school settings is advantageous.
