Summary:
Trancasa USA, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Traffic Controller to manage and inspect materials entering and leaving the yard. Key responsibilities include recording truck and trailer data, verifying customer documentation, visually inspecting cargo conditions, and updating inventory records. The role also involves reconciling physical and Excel inventories and ensuring the accuracy of shipment details. Candidates must be able to work independently, handle extreme weather and temperatures, and lift up to 50 pounds. Experience with heavy machinery and working outdoors is required.

Saturday & Sunday
(7pm - 7am)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for taking data (truck and trailer plates, driver's name, customer name) of all units and loads entering and leaving the yard.
- Verify that the customer's documentation carrying the truck matches the load before it is departed. ·
- Visually inspects the physical condition of the box and reports anomalies to the superior.
- Enter the box record in Inventory Excel file yard.
- Check at the end of the shift physical inventory of boxes and reconcile with Excel inventory.
- Receives documentation from traffic coordinators and sends information to monitoring to receive authorization from
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proactive and able to work with no supervision
- Organizational skills
- Must be able to work in variable temperatures outdoors (below freezing to over 100 degrees)
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (rain, wind, humidity, direct sunlight, etc) in various geographical locations
- Must be able to lift & carry 50+ pounds regularly unassisted
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop while performing work
- Must be able to climb into and out of equipment (cars, vans, trucks, trailers, etc)
- Must be able to operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
