Position Summary
Chaperone Home Care is seeking an experienced California Registered Nurse to support the clinical development, regulatory preparation, and successful licensure of its proposed California Home Health Agency (HHA). The RN will serve as a Clinical Development Consultant and potential Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) candidate, working collaboratively with executive leadership to build the clinical infrastructure necessary for HHA licensure.

Key Responsibilities
- Support development of the California HHA application and clinical documentation.
- Develop and review clinical policies, procedures, forms, and workflows.
- Recommend staffing models, competency standards, and quality management processes.
- Assist with survey readiness, mock surveys, and regulatory responses.
- Provide clinical consultation to executive leadership throughout the licensing process.
Schedule
Per diem, project-based engagement with no guaranteed minimum hours. Typical anticipated commitment is approximately 6–10 hours per week during active licensing activities, with reduced hours during application review.
Future Leadership Opportunity
Chaperone Home Care is committed to building long-term clinical leadership as the organization expands into Home Health services. Upon successful approval of the California Home Health Agency license, and subject to the RN maintaining all applicable California qualifications for the Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) position, satisfactory performance during the licensing and development phase, and mutual agreement between both parties, the RN will be given priority consideration for appointment to the Director of Patient Care Services role.
Depending on patient census, operational needs, and the RN's preferred level of engagement, the position may be structured on either a part-time or full-time basis under a separate employment agreement. Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
