River Pools of Des Moines is an in ground fiberglass pool company serving the Des Moines, IA metro area. We are looking for a reliable and motivated swimming pool installer to join our team. In this role, you will assist our installation crew in the process of placing and installing fiberglass pools. You will help prepare job sites, handle materials, and ensure the efficient and safe installation of pools. No prior experience is required, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with excavation and site preparation for pool installation.
- Help unload, position, and install fiberglass pool shells.
- Backfill and level pools to ensure proper installation.
- Support installation of plumbing, electrical components, and other pool features.
- Keep the job site clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in the installation process.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Assist with cleanup after each project.
- Communicate with the team to ensure the job is completed on schedule.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction or skilled trade.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Physically able to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to operate skid loaders and excavators
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
